Executive Team
- Tom Coyne, President & Chief Executive Officer
- With strong international business knowledge and experience, Tom Coyne is a recognized expert in the design/build approach to implementing automated material handling systems, with a specifc focus on solutions for high speed distribution and each order picking solutions. Prior to his leadership role at System Logistics, he was Chief Financial Officer for Broad Rack Structures, shuttling between Detroit, London and Irapuato, Mexico. From 1987-97, he worked with Rapistan DEMAG Corp., rising to Group Manager of Integration Programs with top-level responsibility for concepting, estimating, project management, engineering and construction site management.
- Peter Pacetti, Chief Financial Officer
- Peter Pacetti joined the company from Jordan's Meats, a $225M meat processor and foodservice wholesaler, where he was Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Jordan's, Pacetti was a Senior Vice President at Fleet Bank in Boston, providing financial services to middle market companies and leveraged buyout groups. His extensive experience in providing sound financial and administrative management, arranging growth financing and managing computer operations support the company's continued growth and development.
- Paul Roy, Vice President, Marketing & Product Management
- Paul Roy has over 15 years of experience in the analysis, design and sale of automated material handling systems, including vertical carousel, vertical lift module (VLM) and horizontal carousel technologies. In his previous role as the Director of Distributor Sales for System Logistics, he was responsible for the management and growth of the company's North American distributor network. He also held the position of Product Manager at System Logistics and prior to that served as Director of Sales Engineering and Product Management for Remstar International. Roy has worked on numerous warehouse automation projects for companies including Intel, Boeing, National Semi-Conductor, Sikorsky Helicopter, Anheuser Bush and various Transit Authorities.
- Charlie Zebell, Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions
- Charlie Zebell has more than 18 years of experience in the material handling industry. He has lead the design and/or implementation of major automated material handling systems across a wide variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, automotive, general merchandise and manufacturing. His experience covers a broad range of technologies, such as automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), conveyor systems, automated guided vehicle systems (AGVS), robotics, carousels, pick-to-light and voice picking systems and warehouse control systems. Zebell previously held positions at Mannesmann Demag/Rapistan/Dematic and General Motors' Orion Assembly Plant and recently earned a Masters degree in Logistics from one of the top supply chain schools in the nation.
- Steve Lankford, Vice President, Systems Integration
- Steve Lankford has over 25 years of experience in material handling software development, with particular experience in automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS). He has been a software development engineer and manager for firms including Alvey Integrated Business Solutions, Rapistan, aushahn Systems & Engineers and Mannesmann Demag prior to joining System Logistics in 1999. Lankford leads the software, controls and project engineering departments and is responsible for all aspects of systems development.
- William Ledoux, Vice President, Operations
- With over 30 years of experience in the industry, William Ledoux has extensive experience in industrial material handling equipment engineering, manufacturing, project management and general administration. As Vice President of Operations since 1995, he has been instrumental in the introduction of new systems and equipment to streamline workflow and maximize profitability. He also served in the same executive position for an earlier version of the business, Diamond Machine Company, where in a span of 18 years, he held positions as Vice President of Engineering, Chief Engineer and Project Engineer.
- Thomas Berger, Vice President, Supply Chain Sales
- Thomas Berger has over 15 years of invaluable experience with core System Logistics technologies, including case and pallet automated storage and retrieval systems. In addition, he has a solid understanding of the challenges clients face and how to help them reach their supply chain goals. Berger is on the faculty of the World Food Logistics Institute as a senior instructor for automated technologies. He joins System Logistics Corporation after serving as senior staff with both WEi and Daifuku.
- Dennis K. Duell, Director of Distributor Sales
- Dennis Duell has experience as a direct salesman, dealer manager, National Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales for several material handling companies. In addition, he owned his own business in Boise, ID for 13 years distributing material handling products to the ID, MT and UT marketplace. He held the positions of National Sales Manager for the direct sales team at Remstar International and Vice President of Sales at MegaStar Systems. His experience in each of these positions has proven his ability to build high performance sales teams and dealer operations. In his previous role as the Director of Sales with System Storage Solutions, he was responsible for the creation, direction, and growth of the System Storage Solutions (MODULA®) North American dealer network. He came to System Logistics through the merger of Diamond Phoenix and System Storage Solutions.
